While part of the original building that became the Croft Bunkhouse, the Bothy is now a completely self-contained unit, which can sleep up to six people. It is ideally suited for smaller groups / families who require the convenience and flexibility of hostel accomodation, but who also desire a greater degree of privacy and independence.
A spiral staircase leads to the first floor, where there is a comfortable dormitory with six single beds, and there is also a small storage room. The Bothy is a very popular unit, and residents can sit down outside in the evening beside the barbeque, and enjoy stunning views of the sun setting over Loch Harport and 'Macleod's Tables'. |
The Bothy has two floors, with the ground floor consisting of an entrance hall, toilet & shower, and a kitchen/living room. The kitchen/living room is fully equiped with an electric cooker, oven, fridge and microwave, and all pots, pans, crockery & cutlery, etc, are provided. There is ample space for up to six people to sit and dine together, and relax in the evening.
